Do you think age 33 is too old for a career change?

I am in the Title insurance business and have been thinking of a career change that would require me to go to medical school. (Optometry) The problem is that I am 33 years old. Do you think this is too old to go back to school for something as difficult as Optometry school?

then going back to school will make you happier
plus 33 is still pretty young

Nr, u kent dat. I' oud m zelf 31 jaar, heb ik vier kinderen en kies uit. Ik keerde enkel naar school terug om B.S in math te krijgen. I don' t denkt geloof u ooit oud bent om te doen wat u wilt.

Geen probleem. 33 is niet te oud. 63 is niet eens oud (veel gepensioneerden weer terug naar school gaan voor een of twee jaar om verandering te brengen in een loopbaan, niet volledig stoppen met werken). Optometrie is niet echt med school. Zoek een school bij u in de buurt, en beginnen te praten op de bekentenissen counselors. Zij kunnen suggereren om naar school te gaan 's nachts te nemen pre-terugbelverz. Op basis van je prestatie, zij akkoord kan gaan met je. Scholen zijn op zoek naar pasionate particulieren voor graduate school – leeftijd is een bijkomende troef voor dit.

Ga voor het! Ik was 32 toen ik naar universiteit ging. Nu bij 37 hebben de baan die ik altijd heb gewild.

no, its never too late to try out new things, if you think the medical school is a good idea, then go for it, age doesnt matter

Ik keerde naar school terug en kreeg mijn het onderwijsgeloofsbrieven op leeftijd 50. Mijn mamma beëindigde universiteit op leeftijd 42. Mijn grootmoeder ging voor het eerst naar universiteit op leeftijd 56, behaalde op leeftijd 60 een diploma en maakte tot Phi BètaKappa. Zo is mijn antwoord nr, u aren' te oud t.

you have to do what makes you happy. if you want to take a ***** at optometry school then go for it. you dont want to be sitting in that title insurance place 5 years from now talking about “what if” or “i should have”. live for today man!!! your still a young buck!!!

OM HET EVEN WELKE tijd zou voor een verandering goed moeten zijn. .PROVIDED u hebt een hartstocht voor de nieuwe lijn van het werk en hebt het durven om de reusachtigheid van problemen which' onder ogen te zien; re verbindend om zulk een onderneming te volgen.

Not too old — I went back to school when I was 43, getting an MBA at 45 and a PhD at 49. I’m now a college professor.

Nee, dat is het niet. Denk er eens over na. Zelfs nadat u klaar bent met school, hebt u nog steeds meer dan 20 jaar van het beroepsleven voordat u bereiken gemiddelde pensioenleeftijd. Dat is genoeg tijd om een volledig en lonende carrière.
